car or a home. As advanced as technology is, PC's cannot heal themselves indefinitely.
One of the cheapest and most powerful enhancement to any PC is the memory (RAM). For Most PC's. $50 to $60 memory doubling
We boost perfomance. Since programs are loaded into Ram, the more of it you have the more effeciently the PC will run
and the more programs can be run at one time. There are many other possibilities such as a large hard drive for storage and the like
but the most important is a good Antivurus and some kind of anti-spyware. The new Windows Vista has many enhancements that aid in
security, sometimes as an aggrevation on the user but a smalll annual investment and scheduled maintenance practices are key.

Small Network Serices
Some of us have more that one computer in our homes or offices and there are many possible netorking solutions that can be configured
to fit your needs. These could range from a simple 4 port, firewalled router to wireless access points(WAPs) to a more sophisticated
multi-port system. M5 Consultants can come to your place, listen to your needs and recommend the best course of action. Wireless technologies
have advanced very rapidly lately and the security measures have increased to keep your network out of the hands of hackers and bandwith hogs.
We are Network + certified and can actually perform installations for you. Strangely enough, the network cards in your PC's can also determine
the speed at which the network runs. The fastest line throughput on any network is only as good as it's slowest component.
Since networks need to be balanced, similar manufactures components should be used throughout the system. If a wired network will better suit your needs, we will not
recommend you go wireless. If your building makes running serveral wires costl-inhibitive, we can recommend a good wireless setup or
a balance of both. Most small wireless hubs have 4 to 8 wired jacks within them as well. Your network can also host a file server, web server ,
application server or a print server that the entire home or office can share. In the same light as good antivirus software for your PC's, networks can have their own
as well, some packages can actually do an install of this protection from once source point or server and distribute updates to each PC within the network.
